Welcome to Green Gables ! Our family-run country inn is situated in the small country village of Mcgregor , in the heart of the Breede Valley wine region, yet we are a mere 2 hours drive from Cape Town, South Africa.

Expect country- style hospitality and accommodation in our buildings which are historical monuments and date back to 1862. Have a sundowner on the Manor House veranda – a favourite spot for locals – and enjoy spectacular views of the village and Langeberg mountains in the distance before tucking into a hearty meal in the restaurant.

At Frida’s our focus is on home grown , locally sourced ingredients that we use for the base of our tapas menu. Sundowner drinks and tapas on our verandah is a must while enjoying gorgeous views over the village and mountain ranges.
